IASPIS at Maria skolgata

The Swedish Arts Grants Committee is located at 83 Maria skolgata on Södermalm in central Stockholm in a former industrial building that now houses modern studios, a project room, offices and an archive. Since 2007, this is the hub of Iaspis’ activities.

Designed by the architect Ivar Tengbom together with Emil Lindkvist in 1917, the yellow building was formerly the production facilities of the Swedish Tobacco Monopoly. The Swedish Arts Grants Committee’s premises were designed in 2007 by John Robert Nilsson Arkitektkontor.
